Thankfulness
Who am I that You love me and always remember me?
Neither brains nor grains can solve a puzzle such great as this.
Your words made me true,
Troubles and pains that instantly flew,
Sometimes I wonder if I was lost in Your realm anew,
I just forgot to say – I Thank You
Times come and times go by,
Possibilities could range from low to high,
Could there be anything to stop us from Your unchanging faithfulness?
Or from Your loving kindness?
So lovely, So pure, You’re always there for sure,
Now, What on earth am I waiting for?
I just want to say – I Thank You
Let not my attitude of thankfulness fade,
’coz all that’s within me reminds me that I’m under Your shade.
Be it old or be it new, be it many or just a few;
Be it hot or be it cold; thirty, sixty or a hundred fold;
It could be to my profession or it can come to my mission;
This is my chance to say – I Thank You
I would rather acknowledge to thank you than to say I miss you. I am Your’s.
